condolences to jannah's family (aunty kamaliah sekeluaga)

it was a sudden tragedy. i was asleep when i received a text msg from imang;

"Alak, Jannah anak auntie kamaliah meninggal td kat langkawi. innalillahi wainna ilaihi raajiuun. sedeh sangat!"

i couldnt believe wat i read. dah la tgh tidur! immediately i grabbed my laptop beside me n look for my family online. i need verification. so i saw suhaib n he confirmed the news. n tame was suddenly online n i told him. and then suddenly uswah ada. n then imang. thank god for the technology. within minutes the news reached me.

when i think about Jannah, its always the same thought i hv been having since i was small n we were always playing together at rumah nenek kat keramat (which is now our house) n rumah nenek at sg. pulai ; jannah yg comel tu.

true, she was SO cute masa kecik (dont get me wrong, she's stil was), at that time auntie kamaliah only had 3 daughters with jannah being the last one. of course me n imang were always mainly playing with husna n huda while jannah tagged along. so cute!

alhamdulillah wat a very good n exemplary family she had, she grown up to be a very good muslimah, following her sisters' footsteps of becoming successful muslimah doctors. she was on her way there, she attended kolej mara banting for foundation before going to ireland to study medic. but Allah has the best plan.

i noticed that upon hearing her death, among the first things ppl would say about her is: dia sgt baik!!

true that. she was indeed. May Allah bless her soul n place her among the solihin..

wat hit me hard is that; heck, wat are ppl gonna say about me when i die? should i happen to die young, or at this moment even. wat would ppl say? "uh.. well, she was a lawyer.. but uhh.. u know.. that profession's tough n.. yeah.. some ppl are just not meant to be. but hey, she's okay though.."

it is indeed a wake up call for u alak. u donwanna be just uhh..okay.

anyways how did the accident happened was very tragic. jannah was attending some MARA program in Langkawi. from the story i got from uswah (which she got having spoken with aunty dayat whom had been speaking with jannah's fren at the funeral), jannah seemed really happy for the last 2-3 days. she was so berseri2 n semangat je join all the programs lasak2 or not. she even said yes to the Go-kart. acc to her frens jannah tak suke sgt main lasak2 ni. but that day she was different, pagi2 lagi dah bangun awal utk sediakan breakfast for her frens and for the lunch, dia belikan kawan2 lunch, and she treated her frens so nicely that day. and at the go-kart tu there was this makcik jual makanan, and she loved to see jannah's bright2 face so much that she had to give discount to jannah. sweet, rite?

but the staffs at the go-kart is another story. based from wat i heard, the staffs didnt brief them on the safety tips, the kids (jannah n frens) were not being given safety jackets (well i ve never played go kart, but anyone who have, mmg kene pakai jaket ke camne, or at least mesti la kene masukkan tudung dlm baju kan for safety purposes) . as the story goes, masa tgh naik gokart tuh, jannah's tudung got stucked to the go-kart (ok i dunno which part yg got stucked to) n terbelit n eventually caused her tengkuk broken. her frens went frantic and boleh pulak go-kart's staff buat donno je!!! wat an attitude!! so jannah;s frens yg terpaksa find THEIR OWN WAY pegi hospital siap sesat2 sume. and by the time sampai hospital she went ICU n .. Allah loves her more.. i was told that from the post mortem it was found out that urat leher mmg dah terputus when the accident happened so i guess it was easy on her, alhamdulillah..

imang told me that at the funeral, jannah's face look lovely. so serene and it was like she was smiling. sangat berseri2. sume org sgt terharu seeing that T_T masyaAllah... sejuk hati Aunty Kamaliah moga jd motivasi kpd kita semua.

mmg nya ajal n maut di tangan Allah.. telah Dia tentukan usia kita semua. yg hidup, akan mati.. tiada yg abadi (ok nasyid raihan).

ajal is one thing but the staffs at the go-kart is another. if i were stil a lawyer, rasa nak saman je!! their negligence caused death kot!!! gila tak rasa apa, a person died at their tracks. they shud hv given precautions to the participants. they shud have briefed the participants. ppl pay them not only for the equipments but also their services! they are obliged to give proper instructions especially for the safety of the participants. i say, lepas ni sape2 pegi langkawi forget the go-kart.boycott je lahh. kasi bangkrap.

ok so much for the change huh. stil the old grumpy me.

al-fatihah buat dearest Jannah...may Allah bless u, semoga dipermudahkan urusanmu di sana. semoga menjadi iktibar buat saya, dan kita semua yg masih hidup. ajal tak mengira usia. marilah selalu we keep reminding each other . kepada husna & huda kat mesir, moga Allah beri kekuatan utk menghadapi kehidupan selepas ini.. esp with the exams and all. semoga keluarga aunty kamaliah sentiasa tabah dan diberi kekuatan..

tak lupa juga, lets not desensitize ourselves with the palestine issue. its a living issue, evry day, every nite, ppl die at palestine. not just some ppl but our own brothers n sisters. mayb we cant do much, but lets keep reminding each other. we tend to forget (ok, I tend to forget) but wat use of a fren rite, (wat more of frenss) , lets always pray for our brothers n sisters and lets boycott n remind each other. mcm diorang selalu ckp, takkan nak tunggu another incident happen baru nak skali lagi bersemangat. semoga Allah membantu kapal2 menghantar bantuan ke gaza supaya bekalan2 tersebut dapat sampai ke Gaza dan bukan di tangan israel terkutuk itu.
