salam n gud morning ppl. this post was composed since last week, and now only ive got the chance to finish n publish it. hehe hmm on 2nd thot, letssee if i manage to publish this today ahaha.
ok i was conflicting which one should i update first: mornington peninsular trip, or the recent sydney? hee im spoilt for choices arent i? :p but anyway, mornington peninsula it is :)
so on Wednesday 14/4/2010, maimunah & fizah (adik awla! muke diorang sgt same!!) came to frankston by train which kak aliya picked them up at the train station for this little mornington peninsular trip.
now, Mornington Peninsula covers Frankston, Northern Peninsula, Hinterland, Western Port & French Island and Southern Peninsula.
so K.Aliya drove us to first, Ashcombe Maze & Lavender Gardens, and then to the Cape Shank Lighthouse, and last but not least back to Frankston to visit the Sand Sculpture and the pier at frankston's beach.

once we've arrived at the Ashcombe Maze & Lavender Gardens, we terus entered the maze. so this is us at the Maze Entrance

and then masuk the 2nd maze (to get to the other side, kene lalu 2 mazes )
maze yg ke2 ni agak susah. esp. bila dah terpisah drpd kak aliya& layth. kitorang sampai 3 kali kot kat tempat bwh ni. haha tak jumpe2 way out.
finally berjaye jumpe kak aliya & layth yg dah lame selesai keluar dari maze tuh haha.

hmm nampak mcm senang rite sbb pagar die tak tinggi pun and mcm kite bole nampak2 je jln sebelah sane. tapi rupenye pening jugak!! hahaha
ok finally berjaye gak complete the mission (to reach the center of the rose maze).

lavender upclose. the smell is so nice and..um.. therapeutic, if i may say. hence the aromatherapy thing rite.

we had a picnic lunch. sodap! lebanese bread, cicah ngan cheese & chives dan houmous.
below is the lighthouse upclose. hehe gamba tak clear sbb ni amik gamba fr poskad ke ape. haha

our last destination was back at Frankston, the Sand Sculpture.

yg ni plak mcm the one who makes history in the music kot. as we can see ada elvis presley, michael jackson, the beatles
yg ni ape ek.. nampak cm ade Mary, dan org2 sejarah ntah le name ape (too lazy to refer to the booklet provided :p)
yg bwh ni mcm perang salib kot. i think yg naik kuda tuh salahuddin al ayyubi. hm jap nak cek booklet. ha, btol, ni pasal byzantine period and the crusades.
obviously behind us is the colisseum
ok so at least saya pernah bergamba dgn obama :p haha
since the sand scuplture is just sebelah je pantai frankston tuh, we headed to the pier.

ni macam our lunch kak aliya belanje. huhuh
ok so alhamdulillah berjaye finish this entry haha. millions thanks to kak aliya yg telah membawa kitorang jalan2 dan membelanja kitorang ^_^;next post insyaAllah: sydney trip with kak aliya & family and Bright trip with jamiila and other malaysian students (mostly postgrad)
