makan besar

you know i'd been counting the days from last week the moment i read the email spreading the news that our firm was gonna makan besar on the last 23rd.. why cuz i am naturally attracted to the word 'makan hotel' and i wud automatically imagining the buffet servings where we'd be allowed to freely flying from one type of meal to another lauk and the most anticipated wud be the dessert, thats why.

so when i entered the hotel with full excitement of makan hotel, i flinched a bit when i heard the colleagues when searching for the respected venue they said 'ming palace'. it mustve slipped my mind the venue mentioned in the invitation email..

u know i'd like to take myself as a bit of adventurous that i like to try new things, taste new foods, surely life has something more than what im always accustomed to kan..so its quite harmless the way i see it.

but seriously..... chinese cuisine mehhh?

i mean, i LOVE sushi or any japanese punye makanan...the western for their lamb chop or steaks watnots (i mean, who doesnt, rite), arab punye makanan pun best- take the famous Mandi (plus its delicious lamb!) and the dessertlike pudding that tasted 'wangi' (i know ppl oso pelik why something wud rasa wangi).. sume gua bleh layan okey...

but i lost my appetite straight away knowing they booked for the chinese cuisine (i seriously think it cost mahal lah kan per head of kos) ,, but of kos, i somehow managed to filled up my stomach sbb i had been saving my stomach for the lunch ok,, lapar gils. and ciss.. they even served herbal tea for the lunch. i mean i am seriously up for herbal tea or any other healthy teas around but not that particular day.. bertambah2 la my frustation built. huhuuu but of kos, dah haus kan, minum bercawan2 juge aku..huhu.
so when i heard they said ada potong kek session afterwards, i was tak sabar gile cuz i need something yg consumeable-if u know wat i mean..

enough bout my tak puas hatiness.. next is my boss yg super comel/nice for quoting (or may i say wronglyquoted ;) ) the phrase 'amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar' in his speech. he said he found that phrase while reading the newspaper that morning. so he elaborate la that we should ask others to do good deeds and forbid to do bad things.. he oso said we are now a family, lets not talk bout about others and talk good things bout others instead..yg paling comel his metaphora yg mcm gini lebih kurang.. we have 10 fingers and we hv 6 long ones and 4 short ones.. so why only focus on the short ones (shortcomings of one person).. when we hv 6 long (or good things) fingers that outnumbered the short ones..ceh aku plak ha yg dh terbalik2 ckp ha.. well u got wat i mean kan..so comel! hahah

so the makan besar was to commemorate 1) deepavali 2) syawal (not exactly lah sbb aritu dh wat makan2 jamuan raya kat ofis(i know, byk mkn2 kan?! = best!)) 3) birthdays for september and october babies (september was combined with octber ones sbb september was ramadhan-how thoughtful ,i know!) and 4) welcoming the newcomers (besides me, there are like 3/4 other new staffs but from the lvl 3 department)

and before the big lunch ended, there were oso potong2 kek session, and of cos i was the one grinning malu2 kucing blakang uncle yg potong kek tu while evrybody else amik gambo,. there were total of 8 org camtu yg birthdya being celebrated :)

ohhh talkabout makan besar, i am rite now sgt hungryjack okeh.. lately malam2 kalo lapar sure cari otai burger. -its very sinfully delicious burger sabar je lah..that i cant understand kalo ade org tak suke.cant resist to hv it evry nite!! tp at this time of hour dh tutup kot ..

eh, alhamdulillah ade cik kazen bername suhaib yg rajinly called uswah tgh2 malam ni dan willing to belikan uswah makanan dr mcD.,. wahh gua pesan skali la god bless u cuz!! chewah..
oh its quite handful jugak this entry kali ini... nampak sgt suke bebel!

oh i purposely tanak letak gambar2 yg berkenaan.. macam bahaye, no? mcm involving org lain dan firm itu,dan most importantly, lets not jeorpardize my new job okeh. haha
