another trip to the city :)

urghh lambat plak entry ni kuar! haha bz skitt ja today.

anyways, this is just another jakun jalan2 city entry with some pics of me (hofkos) n munah n mila.

so friday (14/5/2010) nite i slept at mila's house. the next day we went to ikea kat mane tah name tempat tuh anyways i had been wanting to go to ikea here cuz i thot the ikea here would be different and the price would be cheaper ke hape or at least same harge ngan msia's. the i.d were almost the same, and it turns out that just like many other things here, the price would be similar in msia the only difference is the $/RM. if u know wat i mean. for instance, i saw the bedsheet, the same thing i found at msia's ikea, when this thing was on sale the price is rm59 (eh ke rm69), and guess wat kat sini pun, on promotion jugak, harga $59 so its like, membazir nyee lah kalo ngade2 nak bli kat sini kan. haha the usual kedekut me :p

hehe i so like this bedsheet, mang ko gaji nanti beli doh yg ni :p ahaha

so after ikea, we headed straight to munah's house. mila was sooo kind to send me sampai munah's house (walaupun saye yg drive kan kete sampai umah munah haha tp rajinnye die nak balik resevoir semula pastuh!). and after magrib we headed to the famous dolce's ice cream. hihi memang takde keje la kan malam sejuk2 pegi makan ice cream n dok luar plak tuh! hahah

the chosen flavor: cookies n cream & snickers. sedappp T_T

reunited in melbourne pulak. last jumpe masa form 4 kat hira' la kan! (ok despite the last few meet ups in melbourne la..)

the next day as planned, me & munah pegi DFO (direct factory outlet) kat South Wharf. apparently kat sini ade beberapa factory outlet (sgt bes la kan locals sini dpt beli branded things murah2 tayah gi Bandung pun T_T) .

so on our way there tu, we took our brunch at Lord of the Fries.

its actually a newly introduced fast food restaurant and get this; for vegetarians! so all the things theyre selling are... meatless? haha is there sucha word. imagine the burger pun bukan meat! so wat is it then? n the fries are sedap! mcm gemuk2 and with it comes lots n lots of choices of sauces. mcm ko nak sos ape kali ni. aku amik canadian lah, smalam dah makan american. haa so the sauces nye were named after countries. hehe. SEDAP T_T terngiang2 je rase die.

tu kitorang bubuh 2 types of sauces, heh tak ingat pulak country ape sos nye. haha

this is the burger. agak besa! mmg bukan size burger Ramli/ Otai la kan. ala2 size burger king kot. the non-meat are made of soya. so theyre like buat imitation laa dgn rajinnye jdkan soya tu seakan2 rase daging. and my review?


layan aje! mcm kalo org tak ckp tu soya, haku tatau pun tu iyelah bukan daging. hahah! (ok well perut yg sgt lapar juga menjadi faktor haha)

cik munah yg ayu dan tabah je membawa saye berjalan2 ke seluruh bandar ini..hehe jasamu kan ku kenang munah!

agak jauh kami nak jalan ke DFO tersebut selepas turun tram. so amik2 la gamba sedikit sebanyak.

and the DFO nye tak mcm kat Bandung la kan, sbb kat bandung cm kedai2 berderet sebelah jalan tuh, dlm tu byk2 brand, n untung2 jumpe la brand ape2, kire mixed up la. sini mcm satu brand satu kedai. keh3 n di dalam satu shopping mall yg agak besar. bes T_T n penat juge! hahaha

next stop is,, well, mana lg tempat yg byk kedai halal kalo bukan.. Brunswick! hehe. ive been having this crave for cakes n the sweet2 things .. haha so munah bwk kat satu kedai halal nih..

-: lepastu balik ke frankston naik train sorang2 (selepas meninggalkan brg2 shopping kat rumah munah. tak pasal2 munah nye walk in closet penuh ngan brg2 aku. haha. ye kawan2, munah ade walk in closet. saye sgt jakun! haha siap salin2 baju sume kat dlm tuh! ahahha)

so ive checked my calendar n damn, i got only few days left in oz! oh my, ive started freaking out. nak kene cari keje, the job huntings, the dilema, the interviews..aaarrghh bosannye! n other adult stuffs lain, engagement (eh? hahaha berangan) kawen bla3. cey. takde la. anyways sayangnye nak tinggalkan aussie. hehe bes kot org sini baik2 :) malaysian sini baik2 :) australian pun baik2 je :) that day i went jalan2 around the blocks ngan layth (ye ade gamba nanti la upload takde mende sgt pun cuma saye je jakun2 amik gamba kwsn perumahan kat oversea ni kan haha) pastu passed by this one guy yg keje dtg umah ke rumah utk cek meter ke ape tah. pastu he saw me n terus je went "how're u today?" n went back to his work. i mean of kos its the culture here n i wonder; really, asian countries hv nice ppl? malaysians are ramah mesra? haha klaka pulak. mmg tak kot. hahaha. even the airport officer the immigration officer masa saye dtg arituh pun mesra2 je. haha tatau la sbb when i arrived at the airport tuh dh midnite n diornag dh ngantuk so malas nak gaduh kan. haha.

ok tiba2 dh jd post panjang. nways tomorrow n the day after that i wont be in frankston sbb nak gi city lagi (yeay!) munah nak bwk jalan lg (ohoh tq munah) and saturday nite tuh ada qiyamullail with locals :) mcm bes je it sounds. and sunday pulak kak aliya nak bwk jalan pi Philips Island! hihi besnyeee!!! kangaroo, koala, here i come! hehe

alhamdulillah wa syukrulillah..

ohh! btw!!! if anybody interested to replace my post here. hehe, bole la bitau saye. kalo bole kene start immediately selepas saye dh pulang ke tanahair that is 4th july onwards. previously my senior cum partner in whining (on conveyancing n stuffs) kak khaulah mcm berminat so i emailed her n stil tak dpt reply, so disebabkan nak cepat, sapa2 berminat bole la hubungi saye ye. haha.

i've been to sydney yeay!

so on 24th april subuh2 sapie, kak aliya's family and me boarded a 6.15am flight to Sydney.


upon arriving at the sydney airport, we took the rented car and drove to our first destination; Blue Mountains.

ok behind me ade mcm 3 bukit/ gunung duduk sebelah2. diorang dinamakan the Three Sisters (ade ky die, alak die n imang die. hahaha). haha.
ha, kalo taknampak saya zoom in. kat bwh ni. nampak tak? haha

and then kitorang naik our 1st cable car ride yg dinamakan Scenic Skyway. sbb lantai die lutsinar kot. haha agak gayat la kan.

mcm ni la jadinye kalo layth dah penat nak jalan

pastu singgah ada waterfall kecik kat situ. penat gak turun byk tangga. ada yg besar punye tapi tak larat la nak jalan lebih jauh dr itu kan.

and then we hopped on the train of which on the steepest railway in the world! this one is called Scenic Railway.

and then lepastu terus balik ke hotel room yg indah :) oh2 btw on the way balik i drove the rented toyota rav4 sampai ke hotel. huhu jakun gak penah gak la drive rav4 kan . (yg baru punye and best condition ;p)


ok sgt selesa katil die mcm apehal kan . hahaha jakun2. pastu tu kan ada 2 bantal. satu tu dia labelled as Soft and satu lg Hard ke ape tah, tp cm keras2 ala2 kekabu la yg Hard tuh


pastu malam about 645pm kitorang gi makan kat Moroccan kot name restoran tuh. di bawah ni appetiser..


yg ni main course. nasi die mcm kecik2, sgt klaka pastu nampak satu bowl tu je utk 3 org. mcm tak cukup tp sbenanye terlebih kenyang kitorang makan :)


the next morning we went to the famous Sydney Operahouse and took our breakfast there too. ni gamba berhadapan dgn Sydney Harbour Bridge.

and then jalan2 pastu naik monorail





and then kitorang jalan2 menuju ke train station plak. along the way ada parade sbb hari tu merupakan Anzac Day (where oz celebrates their warriors - or sumthin like that :p)


behind me is the cathedral, and mcm biase la ade park2 yg lawo2 utk bergambar hehe


gamba bawah ni plak mcm chess set yg besar, pastu mmg ade org tgh main. nampak tak laki blkg tu muka serious2 je , die tgh pk the next step to take. tame, mesti ko suke je nak main nih. haha

and then afterwards we board the double decker train. sgt jakun. hihi



and then kitorang pegi makan lunch.. this restoran it says they provide Ha'lal Food. haha ha'lal ..


and then restoran ni cm ade simpan dlm aquarium lobster yg sgt besar and equally big crab too!


afterwards we drove to Bondi Beach, mcm lawa nye lah kan beach diorang ni bersih2 je :) anyways kat sini sejuk gile. rilek je nampak org puteh pakai spender jalan2 waatttt... =_=;


burung2 ni sgt jinak. mcm kite bg roti diorang terus berebut2!


kalo kite baling je roti tu kat udara, diorang tangkap kat udara la kan. sgt cepat n ramai!




ombak kuat jugak, siap ade org bwk surfboard sana sini.

ok lepastu kitorang terus pegi sydney airport and lepak airport while waiting for our plane to depart on 9.15pm

p/s: masa kat sydney airport lepas pulang kete sewa, my camera tertinggal dlm kete. huh cuak gile. pegi la jumpe balik org kat Hertz (name syarikat kete sewa) and tanye. so diorang terus je contact org2 diorang qnd after wat..10mis kot dpt la balik camera (imang) tuh. hehe alhamdulillah ala kulli hal :)
