i like the way ppl like the new face of Ms. Blawg, alhamdullilah :)

today:

• is the 15th day of Ramadhan. the 15th day muslims have been fasting - except the fact that being a girl myself, i dont satisfy the number. haha. kinda terseksa restraining myself from eating when i can actually eat, but the all-male office just wont gv me any chance to sneak somewhere and eat. so.,,tahan je la lapar sampai kat umah :(

• berbuke kat tenaganita, the food was sponsored by US Embassy, okay la jugak makanan die. byk lauk2. hehe. and we were referred as 'the three pretty ladies' more than 3 times. hahah.semoge terus jd doa je la ;p and the org puteh tu pun dok amik gamba, and i so happened to always stand nxt to the important ppl, so agaknye masuk gamba kot? haha sgt mengambil kesempatan like apahal kan.

so en. azman (my boss, that is) utilize this blessed month of ramadhan, by requiring us to gather evryday b4 zohor and there ll be like session macam usrah. hehe. good for me tho cuz ive been missing my usrah routines, uhh lets just say eversince i started my chambering, word usrah has just been ripped off of my dictionary -mercilessly. huhu, no need to wonder why okay. back to the tazkirah session at office, so. during the 'session', we alternately read aloud the chapters from 'peribadi muslim' , which i know, it has been the basic module for any usrah beginner, and i just realized that the famous book was translated by my Grandfather! hoho. bagus banget ey..apehal kan baru sedar.. yea, anybody can just slam my back now and say TAK GUNE NYE CUCU! .. yea wtv

so i ponder...
da'wah is an obligation for ALL muslims. obligation is thus defined by dictionary.com as something by which a person is bound or obliged to do certain things, and which arises out of a sense of duty or results from custom, law, etc. which in short it means something we cant NOT do. like we HAVE to, we are BOUND to do. got it. next,
wat's da'wah anyway?
according to this one book which we dont know whos the author, as the book only mentioned the translator's name which of kos i forgot ady, haha, da'wah is ta'muruuna bil ma'ruf wa tanhauna anil mungkar. or in our mother tounge, mengajak kpd kebaikan, dan mencegah dari kemungkaran. the definition just got me thinking like, laa tu pun dah dikire da'wah. tak smestinye kite cam pegi kpd org2 yg tak kenal dan menyebarkan ajaran islam (which of COURSE IS da;wah too)..

so i reflect..
lately all i hv been doing is mengajak kpd kemungkaran MORE than mengajak kpd kebaikan.
why eh? easy. the answer is because its easier. we dont wanna go against the crowds, its hard, and ppl will stir away. we dont wanna be alone do we?

but lets just see it this way. there, before and when we are measured, (of kos le namenye di alam akhirat) we ARE going to be alone.
every man for himself. remember?
so much for the cliche frens forever right? hehe

hehe okay, just something to ponder about. now u can all go on and about ur daily routines, and lets do some da'wah along the way okay. now it seems that its kinda senang je sket nak ajak2 kpd kebaikan, sometimes it need not be sumthin big. sometimes its just small2 things like 'ha,, jom ngaji jap pas teraweh tu. 2-3 muke jd le,,huhu' like old ppl say, sikit2 lame2 jd le bukit. kan. hm seriously, by saying this here, im actually saying it to myself. and thats the utmost important!

nite ppl , enjoy ur ramadhan . with byk2 ibadah of kos. (yea again, speaking to the mirror ;p)

2) plans for today (retrospectively effective from this morning)

• Bourne Ultimatum - just did. BEST GILE.... superbly awesome. rating: 13/10
  
• update blog and put the printscreen gamba jugak. - on it, and the gamba is above.
  
• pack barang for tonite iftar+sleepover at atikah's .. - after this, lepas mandi. hehe
  
• iftar + sleepover at tikah's. weee ;D tak sabaaa... currently imagining the foods for tonite:
• atikah masak nasi tomato
• husna 'll be bringing her homemade cheesecake.yummy3
• alak- err her hangus gule tak sedap pahit caramel. and hey kurang manis too. cis. action: do sumthin bout it kat umah tikah contohnye: buat susu ideal tu, to be eaten together with the caramel.. hm we'll see how it goes nanti
• tonite: lepak sakan combo: makan+movies+ borak till later2222

3) my greatest sorriest condolences to Nurin Jazlin's family. it is disgustingly gross how a man can be so saddistic as we can see wat the criminal did to Nurin. it's my biggest frustration why has malaysia become an unsafe place of living. after all the merepek so called 50th Merdeka celebration and the rakyat hidup aman dan makmur crap? . in our discussion when we sahur together, takudin / mama concluded that this is wat happened when poverty berleluasa. nak kawen, mahal. nak keje, susah nak dpt keje. pastu tension2, depressed2, dah tade keje sgt, gi culik anak orang dan melakukan perkara2 yang amat2 le kejam dan sgt lah jahat org itu. well, i just dont know what to say and how to say it in the right note.

another conclusion: all malaysians should have each other's back. watching for each other's family. and the most important msg to all : be careful.

ramadhan belated wishes

i went to other ppl's blogs and they re all wishing n telling how they utilise the great month for muslim nih. then i realized that i didnt even mention in my blog yang bulan berkat ini sudah sampai! masya Allah apa mau jadi ni kakk.. huhuh

well truly speaking la kan, i didnt feel a thing that ramadhan has arrived. seriously. mmg takgune la nak ckp an. for me its the same day as usual, only that i dont hv the lunch break nmore, and i cant drink the mineral water beside my desk at office. i didnt start the usual tadarus routine-the keazaman utk khatam also none to be seen. none. zit.

until la my mom msg'ed me ysterday, while i was stil struggling finishing the unfinished work on my laptop, so she said sumthing like 'dah juz bape tadarus?' then i replied, 'tak start pun agi ma, tak sempat' pastu mama replied 'u have to start now! nak upah ke?' haahhh teruk takk...sampai macam budak2 la kan nak kne dioffer upah plak baru nak start. aiyoh very the takgune of me. like seriously tak gune.

so pendek kan cite, dah sedar diri cam tagune tuh, td pun i started la my tadarus. heh baru la habis juz 1. so, byk gile nak kene kejar tu untuk khatam. (but will try ! :))

this is agak basi punye cerite, but watdaheck, its MY blog isnt it. neway, on the first teraweh tu, we one whole family was very lah sad+bangge+terharu when for the first time hearing our very own manjestubborn anak bongsu (of kos for me n sibling, lil brother, not anak bongsu. like duh.) reciting the juz 1 being an imam himself at the nearest surau to our home. we were so very proud esp when the ketua imam surau tu announced 'alhamdulillah seperti tahun-tahun lepas, surau kite pade tahun ini juge dpt berimamkan hafiz muda, kali ini nama Hikmat. tahun2 lepas abang dia, ni abang dia dah melanjutkan pelajaran ke mesir, digantikan pula dengan adiknye.' hoho sangat2 terharu la kan denga die ckp camtu. and surpringly, hikmat recited the ayat2 quran like very smoothly. i was expecting him to be more like the brother, tame mase mule2 bace stok laju gile..hehe kate budak2. tp alhamdulillah, hikmat was as usual, beyond expectation. cewah. pahal an lebih2 puji kang kembang lak.

anyways, enuff bout that. i'd be the last person to advice all of u to fully utilise this great month of ramadhan. so,,

wweeeheeee FINALLY its saturday, and heyy no classes for today!! ;D pure bliss

how i spent my day off:
1- woke up late at 1030am (cant remember when was the last time i got this chance)
2- cabut langsir.. was thinking of changing to another curtain (which i only hv 1. hoho). but until now i didnt pasang any langsir. so the windows quite naked. haha - which is not a good thing cuz at nite, neighbours might see inside when i switch on the light
3- cleaned my toilet - this is the best part!!! ive been wanting to do this since last 2weeks. haha it helps when the bibik forgot to wash my bathroom ni. now i get the pleasure of scrubbing the dirts off and watching them washed off to the hole. best gile! pure satisfaction. heehee :D
4- operation maa - kemas bilik. bersepah gile.
ohh #4 should be deleted. was going to put the straight line to cross it (macam imang slalu buat). but tak reti. haha
5- lazying on my bed:
-watch prison break season 3 spoilers :) will follow this series as scofield's just getting hot n hotter, hensem and hensemer. hahahaha
- watch 'Gridiron Gang' - never thought i'd shed a tear or two or more for this movie. its about a prison warden (i guess thats his post) trying to make a football team out of the prisoners, well its more like a detention camp sbenanye. so they re like so young and full of anger and frustrations with life, but also they re full with potentials. some of them were gang members. so the coach has lots to deal with. well this movie also plays lots pf emotions. hehe that why la the tears.. u following me aite.

its 40-50 minutes to bukak puase now. so guess im just gonna rant here until the azan berkumandang. - huh very the helpful daughter aint i?
lotsa things going on lately. lotsa twists and turns. some are pleasing, others not.
i sometimes find myself got angry over nothing, getting so fussed up over small things. but hey, i think it runs on the sex. haha lets blame it on the xx kromosom okay. haha

speaking of xx.. i found this (soo) feminist poem. since theres still some time left, lemme just type it here. hehe. i think its quite catchy and klakar too, but some parts are true. tho that doesnt mean i agree with the whole part of it. yea its for u to judge.

i mean, an overdue assignment.
uh.. yeap, like 2 weeks overdued? huhu 2 weeks that is. *shame on me*

petang tadi, i sent my assignment thru email. since its already overdued kan, so i said la like 'billions of apologies and regrets for the late submission, it it hoped that u could consider my assignment' and i signed my name and put down my matric no.
5 minutes later it came to me that i MIGHT not attach my assignment in the email i sent to the lecturer.so i sent another email, this time of course i attached the assignment. this 2nd email is just a confirmation la kan. just to make sure my assignment tu btol2 dah dihantar

5 minutes ago, i checked my email. ha! there was a reply from my lecturer tuh. he said 'ok, but where is it?'
hah malu gile... rupenye he replied to my first email. yeah, my first blank-as-in-no-assignment-attached email. hoho

seriously i'm having this short term memory loss.
ergh.. malu btol.

okey 1 more assignment and 2 more papers to go ~ go alak go!
